Client Decides

You decide how the massage will progress. The techniques used will be determined by the objectives you set at the beginning . As we go through the session you may become aware of other areas that need work, please feel free to bring them to my attention.

I work along the lines of Russian Pain Massage. I start slow and easy, and gradually increase pressure. When the area relaxes we go deeper. As the body returns to a balanced state we lighten up and stretch the affected tissue. If you would prefer another style please let me know. I work at your body’s pace of relaxation no matter which massage modality you choose All contact is nonsexual. I will seek your informed consent prior to working in sensitive areas, e.g., high on the inside of the leg, the gluteus, lower abdominals, and groin muscles. The client sets the boundary used when working around breast tissue. This should be considered a partial list that you can amend to suit your needs. You can choose to reject, or change, any part of the massage at any time. If you are uncomfortable for any reason PLEASE tell me. I will correct the problem. Your modesty will always be respected. How much clothing you remove is up to you. Your only requirement is to be comfortable. Towels, sheets, and blankets are provided for draping. Only those areas being treated will be uncovered. A towel is used to drape the female chest before the sheets are pulled down for abdominal work. I work according to accepted industry rules of conduct and ethics. I do not diagnose or prescribe. You must seek proper medical attention for any illness you might have.

At times the subconscious mind will object to a technique by contracting. We never force the body into an uncomfortable situation or position. Every touch is with the body’s permission. The sounds made during a massage are a release of energy. They may be no louder than a sigh. Or any level above that . They differ from a request, or command. “Owe” , means you feel something, “Stop” or “ Lighten up!” are directions I can follow. I will adjust the pressure to your liking. The room temperature, lighting, and music are all set to your level, please let me know what adjustments to make. Feedback during and after the massage is important, it helps me shape the service I provide. I value your opinion. If your preference is for quiet time during the massage I can keep conversation to a minimum, allowing your body to speak for you. All of your personal information given here will remain private. I do not discuss my clients with anyone, nor do I sell or trade client information. I will protect your privacy. You may repeat anything I say. I will stand by any information I give a client. Payment by check or cash. Flat rate per session, not by the hour. Rate set at time of appointment. Your rights are not limited by what’s printed here.
